It's a bit soggy out there, but conditions above the ground are looking good! Staff will be on-site to help with accomodating guests whose seating area is impeded by standing water.
Prepare for takeoff:
- Don’t forget to use sunblock. The forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies.
- Bring lawn chairs and rain boots. The general admission area will be a bit soggy.
- You might want to bring a towel or two.

Jerry’s flying career started at eight years old when he got a kids book titled "Jerry the Jet" and the rest is history.
Having 35 years experience, Jerry’s flying experience includes aircraft such as Beecraft Bonanza, Cessna 172, Citabria, Super Decathalon, SAI Marchetti, Bell Helicopters, HA-200 Casa Jet, Dehavilland Vampire, Dehavilland DH-112 Swiss Venom, L-39, and AVL-29.
Jerry has performed at Airshows across the country fly high performance jet aircraft for 13 years.
His ratings include Comercial, Instrument, Multi Engine, Helicopter, and multiple jet type rating.
Jerry holds an 250' Aerobatic low level card with Jet certification. Jerry is also an avid car enthusiast having built a high performance 1966 Cobra sports car. Whether in the air or on the road, if it goes fast that’s were you’ll find him.
USAF A-10C Demonstration and Heritage Flight (A-10 & P-51)

The Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation celebrates U.S. air power history by providing 40–60 annual Heritage Flight demonstrations around the world. Heritage Flights are flown at events ranging from open houses and air shows to sporting events, parades and funerals. Since its inception in 1997, the Heritage Flight program has supported hundreds of events and touched millions of people. The team currently consists of 10 civilian pilots qualified to fly vintage warbirds in formation with modern Air Force single-ship demonstration teams and F-4 pilots. In 2018 those civilian airmen will fly historic aircraft alongside the Air Force's A-10, F-16, F-22 and F-35 pilots.
Heritage Flights seek to honor the contributions of every man and woman who has served in the USAF while educating the general public on the importance of the U.S. Air Force and its mission.
Greg Koontz Decathlon Demo
The Lycoming AEIO-360 engine with 180 horses, inverted fuel & oil systems and large wing allows for an up front and down low performance. Greg Koontz flies this popular plane through a solo aerobatic routine that demonstrates its agility with a full set of outside loops, vertical rolls, snaps & tumbles (not particularly in this sequence) and inverted passes. The grand finale is a down low, in the dirt inverted ribbon cut! We make it easy on the annoncer as well. Announcing Greg's maneuvers play-by-play is not necessary, and he will address the crowd from the cockpit during his routine.

If patrons attempt to enter the event with any of the items listed above, they will be required to dispose of the items at the gate or return the item to their vehicle. All guests are subject to search by event security.
SERVICES FOR THE DISABLED
Patrons with handicapped licenses or hang tags will be directed to the appropriate parking area.
Because the Air Show happens in the air, viewing is available throughout the facility. There is a limited seating area designated for disabled guests (and one additional guest). Credentials for this area will be distributed to those guests with the proper parking tags. This area is located on a hard, flat surfaces. Keep in the mind that the Air Show event space is very large and patrons should be prepared to traverse long distances once inside the entrance gates.

FAQ
Can I leave the show and return later?
No. Once your ticket is scanned, re-entry is not permitted.
If I have a ticket for Saturday, can I use it on Sunday?
Yes! General admission, party box, air square or public chalet tickets can be used on Sunday. Private chalet hosts will be contacted directly regarding accommodations.
Will the aircraft displays be open all day?
Yes. The aircraft display area will be open from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. both Saturday and Sunday.
Do you recommend ear protection for young children?
Ear protection is not required, but will be sold on-site.
Is smoking/vaping permitted?
Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas.
What happens if it rains?
The Air Show is “rain or shine” and there will be no refunds or reschedule dates. Umbrellas are prohibited. Ponchos will be sold on-site. Check our website for weather announcements and follow social media for updates.
Will there be a viewing area for disabled guests?

No. Coolers and outside food or drink are not allowed into the event. A variety of concessions options are available on-site each day of the show.
What payment methods are accepted at the event?
The ticket gates as well as the concessions stands will accept major credit cards. ATMs will be available on-site.
Will alcohol be sold at the event?
Yes. Alcohol will be available to purchase at the event for patrons 21+
Are strollers or wheelchairs available for rent at the event?
Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted, however, they are not available for rent.
Can I bring a Tent or Beach Umbrella?
No. Due to safety regulations, tents or umbrellas are not permitted at the event.
Can I use my drone at the Air Show?
No. Drones are not permitted at any time within a 7-mile radius of the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport.
